A woman was hospitalized after a two-vehicle crash on Tuesday afternoon in Salina.
According to the Salina Police Department (SPD) on August 11 at 1:10 pm, a 66-year-old female was driving a 2014 Ford Focus and attempting to cross Magnolia Road from Planet Avenue near Dillons.
After stopping at the stop sign and entering onto Magnolia to cross, she was struck on the driver’s-side door by a 2026 Chevrolet Equinox driven by a 35-year-old male going westbound on Magnolia in the outside lane.
Both vehicles were towed.
The female was transported to Salina Regional Health Center by EMS for suspected minor injuries after she had to be extricated from the vehicle.
She was cited for Failure to yield at a stop sign.
