The City of Salina has changed the location of next week's public forum concerning the development of a Citizen Review Board for local law enforcement.
The change was made because the city has received feedback that a large number of Salina residents plan to attend a public forum.
In order the make sure the event includes precautionary measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19, the event will take place in the arena at Tony's Pizza Event Center, 800 The Midway, instead of Great Plains Conference Center, according to information from the city.
The public forum is scheduled for 7 p.m. Tuesday. Doors will be open at 6:15 p.m.
Masks are required to be worn upon entering the building and while seated. Seating will be arranged so that social distancing can take place during the forum.
