A community art contest focused on mental health awareness will be a key feature of the upcoming Salina Speaks: A Community Mental Health Block Party scheduled for May 3 at the City Lights Stage in Salina.
The event is designed to promote mental wellness through artistic expression and public engagement.
Artists in Saline County are invited to submit artwork reflecting themes of mental health and wellness. Selected pieces will be displayed at the block party, which will connect attendees with local organizations and mental health resources.
The event aims to spark conversations about mental well-being, foster community and help reduce the stigma surrounding mental health in our area. The deadline for submissions is March 28, 2025. Email [email protected].
