SALINA, KS - Deborah Jo Dubuc-Schindler passed peacefully to her heavenly home on August 12, 2023, at the age of 66 years young with her son Devin at her side. Deb was a wonderful mother and grandmother “Nana”. She had many friends and was well-loved.
The Celebration of Life will be held Friday, August 18th, 2023, at 10 am at Christ the Lord Community Church (210 W. Shipton, Salina, KS) where Deb was a long-time member. Immediately following the service, there will be a procession to the burial at the Glendale Cemetery located at 11724 W. Watkins Rd, Glendale, KS 67425.
Deborah was an educator who specialized in Autism and Special Education for over 3 decades at USD #240 (Bennington/Tescott), USD #305 (Salina), and Garland Texas ISD. She created a program at Salina Central High School where she assisted her special education students with operating a catering business to assist them with understanding life skills that would help to pave their future successes.
Deborah leaves behind her son Devin Dubuc, wife Deirrian, grandson Dylan, granddaughter Mackenzie, granddaughter Teodora, grandson Jaxon, and grandson Kai.
Also survived by sister Angie Abbott, nephew Cadron Pickett, wife Hannah, and daughter Violet.
