WICHITA, Kan. - Alex Littlejohn of No. 24 Kansas Wesleyan University has earned the KCAC Men's Basketball Offensive Player of the Week honor, the conference office announced Monday. Student-athletes were selected for their performances from Nov. 4-10 by a vote of conference sports information directors. All KCAC Player of the Week honors are presented by Equity Bank.
Littlejohn was again phenomenal for the Coyotes in a 2-1 week. He had 15 points and six rebounds in the game at Manhattan Christian. Against Waldorf in a big win over the Warriors, LIttlejohn nearly had a triple double with 19 points, 13 rebounds and nine assists. On Saturday against a very good Morningside team, Littlejohn carried the team, scoring a career high 34 points, while adding 12 rebounds and six assists. His performances have him within striking distance of two KWU career records that have not been touched since 1950, and 1955, respectively, as he is less than 200 points and less than 160 rebounds away from those career records.
