McPherson County reports 8 new cases of COVID-19; data updated

MCPHERSON -- The McPherson County Health Department this evening updated its COVID-19 statistics, including the county's new confirmed case total of 321.

Of the 321 confirmed cases, 291 have met Kansas Department of Health and Environment recovery guidelines.

Following is the updated case data, as provided by the health department.

• New cases since last public release: 8

• Asymptomatic: 28

• Cases with unknown exposure: 132

• Cases 60 years old and above: 85

• Cases 50-59 years old: 35

• Cases 40-49 years old: 45

• Cases 30-39 years old: 41

• Cases 18-29 years old: 83

• Cases under 18 years old: 32

• Female cases: 168

• Male cases: 153

• Hospitalized cases (may not represent current hospitalizations): 28

• Ventilated cases (may not represent current ventilated cases): 4

• Deaths: 3 (2 pending records)
