An act of arson prompts an investigation among Salina first responders.

According to the Salina Police Department (SPD) on June 20 at around 6:30 am,&nbsp;officers and the Salina Fire Department (SFD) responded to a fire call in the&nbsp;1100 block of W. Elm.

Upon arrival, three storage containers were found to be on fire. 

The fires were extinguished by SFD and were determined to be an act of arson. 

The containers did not contain any items of value, according to SPD.

The total loss of the containers were valued at $9000.

First responders investigating an act of arson in north Salina
