Rosalie A. Rahe passed away at the age of 75 on January 24, 2021 at Riverview Estates, Marquette, Kansas. Known as Rosie to many of her friends and family, she lived in Tescott, Kansas and surrounding areas since 1973. She moved to Salina, Kansas in 2007 and lived there until 2020.
She was born to Henry and Hattie Bohlmeyer on July 29, 1945 in Plymouth, Nebraska. Rosalie married Orville Rahe on July 29, 1961 in Fairbury, Nebraska. She dedicated her life to her husband and three children. She enjoyed watching Westerns, Price is Right and enjoying meals with family and friends.
She was the beloved mother of Gary Rahe, Tescott, Kansas; Larry Rahe, Lincoln, Kansas; and Sharon (Rahe) Medellin and her husband Thomas Medellin, Elk Grove, California; proud grandmother of two grandsons, Gabriel Medellin, Phoenix, Arizona, and Thomas Medellin, Elk Grove, California, and sister Irene Mills, Tulsa, Oklahoma.
She was proceeded in death by her husband of 38 years, Orville Rahe; her parents; six brothers and two sisters.
Visitation without the family present will be from 2:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M., Friday, February 5 at the Wilson Family Funeral Home, 405 Argyle Ave., Minneapolis. Private celebration of Rosalie’s Life will be Saturday, February 6, 1:00 P.M. at the Wilson Family Funeral Home with Pastor Don Howell. Public burial at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, February 6 at Franklin Cemetery, Tescott, Kansas.
