Marion - James Lee Richmond, 85, passed away August 23, 2021 at St. Luke Living Center in Marion. He was born October 9, 1935 in Antelope, Kansas to Clyde and Henrietta (Conyers) Richmond. He married Violet Frances Franta February 20, 1960 in Pilsen.
Survivors include: son Rick Richmond of Austin, Texas; daughter Jamie (Bill) Shirley of Marion; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Predeceased by: wife Violet Richmond in 2020; brothers Ralph and Jack Richmond; sister Evelyn Bredemeier; parents Clyde and Henrietta Richmond.
Celebration of Life service 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 27, 2021 at Eastmoor United Methodist Church in Marion officiated by Pastor Darren Frazier. Committal service 10:00 a.m. Friday at the Marion cemetery.
