Larry D. Rahe passed away at the age of 58 on August 16, 2022, peacefully at his home in Salina, Kansas after battling cancer for the past 15 months. Larry lived in Tescott, Kansas and surrounding areas since 1973. He moved to Salina, Kansas in 2021.
He was born to Orville and Rosalie Rahe on November 6, 1963, in Lincoln, Nebraska. Larry was married twice.
Larry’s hobbies were to collect toys, tools, and scrap iron and metal. He also enjoyed mowing and helping his friends in any way they needed him.
Larry is survived by his stepson James R. Stoutand his wife Heather, Chanute, KS; stepdaughter Tonya Stout, Salina, KS; six step-grandchildren; brother Gary Rahe, Tescott, Kansas; sister Sharon (Rahe) Medellin and her husband Thomas Medellin, Elk Grove, California; uncle to Gabriel Medellin, Phoenix, Arizona, and Thomas Rahe Medellin, Jefferson City, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his father Orville Rahe and mother Rosalie Rahe.
Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday, August 26, family present from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Wilson Family Funeral Home, 405 Argyle Ave., Minneapolis. Public celebration of Larry’s life will be Saturday, August 27 at 2:00 p.m. at the Wilson Family Funeral Home with Pastor Don Howell officiating. Burial will follow in Franklin Cemetery, Tescott, Kansas.
