SALINE COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after 11:30a.m. Wednesday in Saline County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2005 Suzuki motorcycle driven by Chase B. Mciver, 28, Council Grove, was westbound on Kansas 4 four miles northeast of Lindsborg.
An unknown non-contact vehicle turned in front of the motorcycle to enter the northbound Interstate 135 on ramp.
Mciver attempted an avoidance maneuver and laid the motorcycle down on its side. EMS transported a passenger Jennifer R. Long, 31, Topeka, to Salina Regional Health Center. Mciver was not injured.
They were wearing helmets, according to the KHP.
