ASSARIA - A minor earthquake rattled part of southern Salina County this morning.

According to the Kansas Geological Survey, a 2.1 magnitude quake struck north-northeast of Assaria at 10:36 a.m. Thursday. The quake was centered southeast of the intersection of S. Ohio Street and E. McReynolds Road.
