Sheriff's Office investigating theft of multiple items in Bridgeport

BRIDGEPORT - A McPherson man is out $20,980 worth of items after someone stole them from his property in Bridgeport.

Saline County Sheriff Roger Soldan said this morning that sometime after Aug. 1, someone stole a 2006 Rockwood Roo camper from a location in the 100 block of S. Main in Bridgeport.

Additionally, the windows were broken on a Ford Freestar van and its catalytic converter was stolen.

Other items reported stolen from the location include the following, Soldan said.

●A catalytic converter from a 1995 Mercedes-Benz 332

●A catalytic converter from a 2007 Audi

●A DR Pro walk behind mower

●A Schumacher battery charger

●A smaller Schumacher battery charger

Soldan said the owner, Marcos Martin, 50, of McPherson, reported the items stolen on Friday.
