The Salina Police Department arrested 19-year-old Salina resident Michael Dyson, a suspect with multiple warrants after he fled from officers Thursday evening.
At around 11:39 p.m., an SPD officer recognized Dyson walking at the 1200 block of North Seventh Street. SPD Sergeant Kyle Tonniges said the officer pursued Dyson in his vehicle before chasing him on foot.
"Officers were able to catch up to him and get him arrested," Tonniges said. "After he was arrested, he was uncooperative and resisting officers, so we had to place him in a body wrap."
Tonniges said Dyson had a felony warrant through the Saline County District Court and several misdemeanor warrants through the Salina Municipal Count.
Dyson has the following warrants and requested charges —

● Probation Violation
● Interference with a Law Enforcement Officer
● Felony Warrant
