The Love, Chloe Foundation invites the community to lace up their running shoes for a morning of family fun, fitness, and fundraising at the 2025 Love, Chloe Family Fun Run on Saturday, April 26. Whether you're a seasoned runner, a casual walker, or just want to cheer on participants, this annual event is a great way to make a real difference in the lives of families facing childhood cancer.
The event kicks off at 8 a.m. at the City Lights Stage at Ash and Santa Fe in downtown Salina, rain or shine. Participants can choose from a 1-mile walk/run, a 5k walk/run, or a 10k run, ensuring that people of all ages and fitness levels can get involved. For those who prefer to support from a distance, a virtual participation option is also available.

“This is our 11th Annual Family Fun Run," said Heidi Feyerherm-Smith, founder and president of the Love, Chloe Foundation. “It’s hard to believe that the event has grown to nearly 800 participants that we are expecting this year! We couldn’t do what we do without all our dedicated supporters.”
The morning will be filled with more than just running. Kids can enjoy a bouncy house, face painting, delicious snacks, and drinks after the race. The disco theme adds a lively twist, so dig out your best groovy gear and get ready to boogie your way through the course.

1-mile Run/Walk: Adults $25 | Kids 12 and under $20 .
5k Run/Walk: Adults $30 | Kids 12 and under $20

About Chloe
The Love, Chloe Foundation was established in memory of Chloe, who courageously battled Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG), a rare and aggressive brain tumor. Chloe's fight inspired her family and community to create the foundation, which continues to support families facing childhood cancer while raising awareness and funding research.
The Family Fun Run not only honors Chloe's memory but also serves as a critical fundraiser to support families impacted by childhood cancer. Your registration fee goes directly toward helping families navigate the challenges of a cancer diagnosis, providing both financial and emotional support when it’s needed most. Love, Chloe provides both immediate and long-term support through programs such as Monkey in My Chair, Warrior Wagons, Financial Support Grants and Fueling the Fight Gas Cards.
For those interested in giving back in a different way, volunteer opportunities are also available. Volunteers will receive a special shirt and can help with event setup, handing out race materials, and more.
Local businesses are also encouraged to join as sponsors, offering a unique opportunity to gain community visibility while supporting a locally supported non profit organization.
