A Salina woman sought help by running through the streets of town after receiving multiple injuries from 26-year-old resident Deshawn Gosha.
According to Salina Police Department Capt. James Feldman, officers reported to the 1000 block of Johnstown Avenue at around 6 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 2, where they located a 31-year-old Salina woman yelling for help.

"During the investigation, she did have some minor injuries and would later be transported to the hospital for evaluation," Feldman said.
The woman reported that between 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 19, and just before 6 a.m. on Dec. 20, a known subject battered her throughout the evening.
Feldman said the suspect, Gosha, forcefully took the victim's cellphone and bag while battering her. The victim also reported that Gosha threatened her with a weapon and choked her.
SPD officers located Gosha later that day and arrested him for aggravated robbery, criminal threat, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and two counts of aggravated battery.
