Keith L Wineinger was born in Luray, Kansas on March 10, 1941 and died at his home on June 29, 2024. His parents were Leland and Mary (Wilkinson) Wineinger. Keith grew up in Luray, attended Fort Hays State University, Hays, Kansas and graduated with a bachelor’s degree and then obtained his Masters in Education. Keith dedicated 39 years to teaching for the Waconda School District. He coached track, cross country, football and girls basketball for a span over 42 years. Keith cherished the relationships formed with colleagues, coaches and mostly his students. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening. He spent 14 years taking care of Prairie Grove Cemetery in Cawker City. Keith was a member of the Glen Elder Christian Church in Glen Elder, Kansas.

On December 23,1976, he married Barbara Ann Mansholt. They spent the majority of their years in Cawker City, Kansas.

Keith was preceded in death by his parents; in-laws, Raymond and Maxine Mansholt; sister, Beverly Maddocks; and brother-in-laws, Ivan Mansholt and Jim Maddocks. He is survived by his wife Barbara; daughters, Lanette Wineinger, Abbe (Jeff) Zeiders and Beth (Tim) Deines; grandchildren, Stephan (Cassidy) Keating, Amy (Danny) Gardner, Trent and Tabetha Deines; great grandchildren, Knox Keating, Jaelyn and Logan Gardner; sister, Patricia (Tom) Elarton; brother, Bruce (Diana) Wineinger; sister-in-laws, Virginia (Eldon) Mickelson and Beverly Mansholt.

Cremation has taken place. Private funeral services will be held at a later date. Memorials can be given to American Cancer Association or Glen Elder Christian Church. Condolences may be left at www.robertsfamilyfs.com
