From the Kansas Law Enforcement Training Center Facebook page:
Officer Mike Adams grew up wanting to play second base for the Boston Red Sox. His career in baseball ended early after an elbow injury during college. Officer Adams then served with the Reno County Fire District #2 in 1997 until 2001, when he joined the Army. He served in the Army until 2008 and then returned to fire service. Officer Adams retired from fire service as a Battalion Chief in 2019. He worked briefly in the private sector before returning to public service in July 2021 when he was hired by the Moundridge Police Department.
Officer Adams and the 286th Basic Training Class will graduate on Friday, December 10th, at 1pm in a ceremony at KLETC’s Integrity Auditorium. The graduation ceremony is open to the public or can be streamed on KLETC’s Facebook and YouTube pages. Congratulations to Officer Adams and the students of the 286th basic training class!
