Smoky View 4-H Club busy between fair, officer elections

During the last month, Smoky View 4-H Club members participated in the Tri-Rivers Fair, learned about each other’s projects during its club tour, and elected new officers for the upcoming 4-H year. 

During the fair August 7-12, the club won second place for their float, had Brynna Anderson as the Tri-Rivers Fair queen, and earned awards for 4-H projects. 

A few weeks later, the club met again to hold its August meeting, which included officer elections. These elections are held every year to determine which members will get what jobs in the coming 4-H year. Members are elected through parliamentary procedure. 

The following Smoky View members have received offices: 

President: Brynna Anderson

Vice President: Hensli Lofdahl 

Secretary: Eian Pracht 

Treasurer: Kayla Norberg

Jr. President: Brik Johnson

Jr. Vice President: Krew Swisher

Jr. Secretary: J.D. Mettlen 

Jr. Treasurer: Kate Griffin 

Song Leaders: Soren Johnson and Eddie Littich 

Recreational Leaders: Grace Cloyd and J.D. Mettlen 

Parliamentarian: Maia Pracht and Wyatt Griffin

Safety Officer: Remington Lofdahl and Bristol Isaacson 

Reporter: Acacia Pracht 

Greeter: Ames Ast

Attendance Secretary: Kenzie Isaacson

Sargent of Arms: Gunner Cloyd

Historian: Kayla Norberg

District Council Representatives: Hensli Lofdahl, Brik Johnson, Everett Isaacson. 

Smoky View 4-H Club will meet again at 4 p.m., September 17 in the Salemsborg Fellowship Center.
