During the last month, Smoky View 4-H Club members participated in the Tri-Rivers Fair, learned about each other’s projects during its club tour, and elected new officers for the upcoming 4-H year.
During the fair August 7-12, the club won second place for their float, had Brynna Anderson as the Tri-Rivers Fair queen, and earned awards for 4-H projects.
A few weeks later, the club met again to hold its August meeting, which included officer elections. These elections are held every year to determine which members will get what jobs in the coming 4-H year. Members are elected through parliamentary procedure.
