Charolette K. Deneault, age 75, of Concordia, KS, passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2024 at her home in Concordia, KS.  She was born on June 29, 1949 in Red Cloud, NE to Kenneth J. & Mildred L. (Fielder) Smith. 

She married Dale Deneault I, on November 12, 1966 in Concordia, KS.  He preceded her on April 3, 2013.  She was a lifelong homemaker and always took care of her family, she also worked for USD 333 in the kitchen as well as helping as a para-educator and bus monitor.  She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Concordia & a former VFW #588 Auxiliary member. 

Charolette is survived by her daughters, Denell Wheeler (Brian), Salina, KS & Debbie Hoffer (Rod), Topeka, KS; son, Dale Deneault II (Jacki), Concordia, KS;  grandchildren, Braxtyn Wheeler (Anh), Brittany Wheeler, Dustin Hoffer (Megan) Darrick Hoffer (Dana), Rylee Hoffer, Dale Deneault III, Mason Venard & Jalen & Brecklynn Bonner; 11 great grandchildren; sisters, Karen Dykes (Bob), Rhonda Bunch & Lisa Snavely (Mike), all of Concordia, KS;  brother, Kevin Smith (Jacque), Concordia, KS, Brad Smith (Rhonda), El Dorado, KS, Kent Smith (Julie),  Concordia, KS, Terry Smith (Modene) & Todd Smith (Dana), both of Salina; and many nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her husband Dale I, her parents, Kenneth & Mildred Smith, & a grandson Joey Wheeler. 

Mass of Christian burial will be 10:00 am, Friday, July 12, 2024 at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, Concordia, KS with Fr. Joseph Kieffer officiating.  Burial will follow at St. Concordia Cemetery, Concordia, KS. Visitation will be Thursday, July 11, 2024 from 1-8 pm with the family greeting friends from 7-8 pm all at the funeral home.
