OD Burse passed away on April, 5 2025 at the age of 70.

OD lived most of his life in Salina, Grand Island, Nebraska and most recently in Kansas City, MO with his significant other Tina Sweatman. OD was born on August, 16 1954 to OD Burse Sr. and Ida Belle (Outland) Burse in New Orleans, LA.

One of 8 children OD was predeceased by his father OD Sr., Gene Outland (brother) and his beloved sister, Ida Belle (fondly known as "sister"). OD is survived by his mother Ida and siblings, James (Patricia) Burse, Harvey (Stephanie) Burse, Larry (Pat) Burse, Bruce (Pam) Burse, sister Claudette (Burse) Davis and a host of nieces/nephews.

OD was an over the road truck driver, which he loved immensely. He also enjoyed playing a good game of pool.

A celebration of his life will be scheduled at a later date.
