Gertrude Mina (Leske) Ketterer, daughter of Fred Leske and Etta (Bobbitt) Leske was born on July 24, 1929 in Haddam, Kansas and passed away on December 13, 2021 in Lincoln, Nebraska at the age of 92.
She was united in marriage to Linus Patrick Ketterer on May 20, 1947. She was a strong willed woman who described herself as “persistent” and she always enjoyed helping others including several teenage foster children. She and Linus raised two daughters and an adopted son.
She is survived by those children and their spouses, Annette (Edward) Sturtz, Deborah “Deb” (Jerry) Wright and Ivan. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Gregory (Kari) Wright, Terese (Will) Pirl, David (Kat) Sturtz, John (Tanya) Sturtz, Wallace (Cassandra) Maxwell and her brother, Raymond (Mary) Leske. In addition, she is survived by many great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her spouse of 61 years, Linus, and her sisters, Ruth Fritzsch and Joyce Leske.
Cremation was chosen.
Memorial services and Inurnment at the Haddam Cemetery, Haddam, Kansas will be held at a later date.
