LINDSBORG - Lindsborg is inviting the community and the surrounding areas to celebrate it's 'Old Fashioned' 4th of July at Swensson Park.
All ages are invited to meet at the gazebo on the 400 block of North Main St. at 5:00 pm to decorate strollers, wagons, bikes, or yourself, then march through the park. Concessions, provided by SVHS Drama Club, will be available to purchase beginning at 5:30 pm. Yard games such as play Gaga Ball, Corn Hole, Yard Jenga, and many will be occurring throughout the celebration. Ice cream will be available to purchase from the Indigo Moo'd Ice Cream Cart.
The entertainment will begin at 6:00 pm and will include community talent and a band performance. While there is limited bleacher seating available, attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets.
The celebration is open and free to the public. There will not be an organized public display of Fireworks.
