KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The Kansas City Royals announced multiple roster moves this evening.
In an announcement on their Facebook page, the Royals noted that they will not tender Major League contracts to the following players.
Infielder Maike Franco
Infielder Jeison Guzman
Infielder/outfielder Erick Mejia
Outfielder Bubba Starling
Additionally, left-handed pitcher Foster Griffin and right-handed pitcher Carlos Sanabria, who were designated for assignment earlier this week, also will not be tendered Major League contracts.
The club also announced today that it did agree to terms with infielder/outfielder Hunter Dozier and outfielder/designated hitter Jorge Soler.
Tuesday, the Royals announced that they had agreed to terms with outfielder Franchy Cordero and right-handed pitchers Jesse Hahn and Jakob Junis.
Following tonight's transactions, the Royals have 36 players on their Major League Reserve List.
