Judith K. "Judy" Huninghake, 71, of Salina, passed away suddenly Friday, March 1, 2019. She was born July 27, 1947, in Baileyville, to Edwin and Alvina (Wessel) Brucken.
Judy married Larry Huninghake, Feb. 1, 1969, in Beattie, and they recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. She worked for many years at Bogeys and True Value in Salina.
She is survived by her husband, Larry; daughters Tana Huninghake of Salina, Beverly Hokr (Russ) of Lindsborg, Jennifer Starkel (Jerry) of McPherson, and Melissa Huninghake of Salina; grandchildren Tishnah Nelson (Ryan), Jessica Stiawalt (Chris), Cody Starkel, Amanda Starkel, and Shane Starkel; great-grandsons Austin Brown and Justin Nelson; and brother Bill Brucken of Rogers, Ark.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, John and Larry Brucken.
A graveside memorial for both Larry and Judy will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 31, 2021, at Roselawn Memorial Park, Salina.
