
OTTAWA – Kansas Wesleyan Flag Football faced the University of Florida on Sunday at Ottawa's AdventHealth Field, and fell to UF's team 69-0.
The Coyotes had 228 yards of total offense in the game, 169 through the air and 59 on the ground.
Sabrina Saldate (JR/Las Vegas, Nev.) was 16 of 37 passing for 119 yards and had two interceptions. Brianna Hernandez-Silva (JR/Las Vegas, Nev.) was 3 of 11 passing for 50 yards.
Ja'Daa Wilson (FR/Crawfordville, Fla.) had seven receptions for 25 yards, while Hernandez-Silva had five catches for 43 yards and Marisa Rubino (FR/West Palm Beach, Fla.) had three for 46.
Saldate also added seven runs for 34 yards and Hernandez-Silva had six carries for 31 yards.
Rubino led the Coyote defense with eight flag pulls, and also had an interception. Wilson had five stops and an interception.
