Salina Police have arrested a 56-year-old Salina man for allegedly soliciting and raping a child.&nbsp;

Salina Police Lieutenant James Feldman told Salina Post this morning that&nbsp;56-year-old Delwin Wohlgemuth was arrested on the requested charges of 30 counts of aggravated indecent solicitation of a child less than 14 years old, and 30 counts of rape where the victim is less than 14 years old.

The arrest was made yesterday after police received a call from the victim's family informing them of the alleged sexual abuse.&nbsp;

Feldman said the alleged sexual abuse took place over the course of multiple months.&nbsp;

According to Feldman the investigation is ongoing.&nbsp;
