Parts of two streets will be closed this week for railroad crossing repairs.
The City of Salina announced today that S. Fourth Street south of E. Iron Avenue will be closed Wednesday and Thursday for railroad crossing repairs.
Additionally, Schilling Road between S. Ninth Street and and S. Ohio Street will be closed Friday and Saturday for railroad crossing repairs. The work is expected to be completed by Saturday evening.
Local access on each side of the Schilling Road crossing will be allowed but motorists should find an alternate route while work is being performed. The signed detour route will be south to Water Well Road and back north on either S. Ohio Street or S. Ninth Street.
