Project Salina
The Souper Bowl of Hope has collected 8,553 cans of soup and $5,130 in cash donations. Cash donations will be used to purchase an additional 8,551 cans of soup, allowing us to respond to agency needs as they arise.
We expect to get many more cash donations coming in over the next few weeks.
Soup Pickup
If you have soup that still needs to be picked up, our board members are happy to help. Soup will be delivered directly to the agencies after coordinating delivery times with them.
To schedule a pickup, please email souperbowlhopesalina@gmail.com with the following information:
- Number of cans to be picked up
- Preferred day and time
- Business address (including specific door instructions, if needed)
- Contact name and cell phone number
- Any cash or checks to be collected
Please ensure soup is bagged or boxed, not overly heavy, and accessible on the ground floor. Also complete the attached form and provide it to the board member at pickup to help us track donations accurately.
Counting Guidelines
To ensure accurate totals:
- Small/regular cans (10.5–15 oz.) = 1 can
- Large cans (19–24 oz.) = 2 cans(Example: 5 large cans count as 10 cans)
Cash Donations
Cash donations are welcome at any time—there is no deadline. You may choose one of the following options:
- Mail checks (payable to Souper Bowl of Hope) to:Souper Bowl of Hope, PO Box 2861, Salina, KS 67402-2861
- Deliver cash or checks to Central National Bank (454 S. Ohio, near Water’s True Value). Please place donations in an envelope labeled “Kristina Litchman, Souper Bowl” and include your organization’s name for proper credit. Envelopes may be dropped off inside the bank or through the drive-through.
- Request board pickup of cash or checks by emailing us to make arrangements.
