Families will have more flexibility this fall as the YMCA introduces a new youth sports schedule designed to give children the opportunity to participate in both soccer/Flag Football and volleyball.

Traditionally offered during overlapping timeframes, the YMCA's fall sports schedule has been adjusted to allow athletes and families to enjoy multiple sports without scheduling conflicts.

The fall season will begin with Youth Soccer and Flag Football, with registration currently open through August 3.

Soccer is available for children in Pre-K through 6th grade, while Flag Football is open to youth in Kindergarten through 6th grade. Games for both leagues will be played on Saturdays from September 12 through October 10.

The second half of the fall sports season will feature Youth Volleyball, providing an additional opportunity for young athletes to stay active, develop skills, and continue building friendships throughout the season. Volleyball games will be held on Saturdays from October 24 through November 21.

Registration for volleyball is not yet open but will begin on August 3.

YMCA youth sports programs focus on more than competition, emphasizing skill development, teamwork, sportsmanship, and confidence-building in a positive and supportive environment.

By separating the seasons, the YMCA hopes to make it easier for families to participate in multiple programs and give children the chance to explore new interests while remaining active throughout the fall.

Parents interested in registering for Soccer or Flag Football are encouraged to sign up before the August 3 deadline. Additional information about Volleyball registration will be released as enrollment opens.
