Cloud County Community College’s theatre department will present a free-one act play, Trifles on Saturday at the Concordia Broadway Plaza.
The free performance will begin at 5 p.m.
Trifles by Susan Glaspell is a one-act play surrounding an investigation of John Wright’s murder. As the men search the house, hoping to discover a motive, the ladies are left to deal with the “trifles” of gathering some necessary items for Mrs. Wright, who has been arrested for the murder. Though the men believe the women have little to worry about, they may be the ones to solve the mystery of John Wright’s death.
The cast for the performance is: Mrs. Peters, Olivia Hart, Concordia; Mrs. Hale, Chloe Springfield, Ness City; Mr. Hale, Gael Garcia, Salina; County Sheriff, Gerardo Arana, Marysville; and Mr. Peters, Dexter Buss, Concordia.
The performance is directed by Violette Kjeldgaard, Cloud County’s Theatre Director.
