
Madelon (Ranney) Hardy, 83, Delphos, passed away Monday, August 11, 2025, in Concordia, with her daughters at her side. She was born September 24, 1941, in Concordia to Harry and Magdalena (Veverka) Ranney.
Madelon was a 1959 graduate of Delphos High School. She and Leroy Bremerman were married, and four children were born; Ron, Rachel, Martina and M.J. They later divorced and she married Maurice “Al” Hardy, and he preceded her in death on April 8, 2008.
Madelon worked many jobs throughout her lifetime. She was a hard worker who always believed in being a giver and not a taker. Madelon was a faithful member of Words of Light Fellowship Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Leroy and Al; brother and sister-in-law, Duane and Hazel Ranney; brother-in-law, Allen Atwell; and great nephew, Levi Shipley.
Survivors are her children, Ron Bremerman, Rachel Peters and her husband, Bob, Martina Gieber and her husband, David; and M.J. Bremerman; sister, Deloros Atwell; 11 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; and numerous step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M., Sunday, August 17 at Wilson Family Funeral Home, 405 Argyle Ave., Minneapolis, KS 67467. Graveside services will be at 9:00 A.M., Monday, August 18 at the Bohemian National Cemetery.
Memorial services will follow at 11:00 A.M. at the Words of Light Fellowship Church, Delphos.
Memorials may be made to the Madelon Hardy Memorial Fund for benches in her memory and may be left in care of the funeral home
