WICHITA - Friends University got a seventh minute goal and made it stand the rest of the way as the Falcons knocked off the Kansas Wesleyan Women's Soccer team 1-0 on Friday in the KCAC Semifinals at Scheels-Stryker Sports Complex.

Friends got its goal after the Coyotes turned the ball over in their defensive half and Trinity Granger scored it top shelf from the top left corner of the 18-yard box.

Wesleyan's best shot came in the 82nd minute when Talia Walsh had a 1-vs-1 opportunity with the keeper Morgan Wilkinson, but Wilkinson made a spectacular diving save to keep the Coyotes off the board.
