About the meeting

The Salina City Commission will hold its regular meeting on Monday June 1, 2026. The meeting will begin at 4:00 pm inside Room 107 of the City-County Building, 300 West Ash Street.

Consent Agenda

1. Consider approval of the May 11, 2026, regular meeting minutes.

2. Consider authorizing the purchase of a new wheel loader for the Landfill and awarding a bid to Foley Equipment in the amount of $254,900.

3. Consider a three-year renewal of the agreement with Flock Group Incorporated d.b.a. Flock Safety for continued leasing and maintenance of 22 fixed Automatic License Plate Readers (ALPRs).

Administration

1. Consider awarding Phase 2 of the bid to replace and refresh the landscaping on South Ninth Street Medians to Landscape Consultants, LLC in an amount not to exceed not to exceed $134,047.07.

Development Business

1. Consider awarding the bid for demolition of 1616 West Crawford Street (Project No. DS-26-1) to Diehl Enterprises of Salina, Kansas, in the amount of $782,411.00.

2. Consider approval of Ordinance No. 26-11284 rezoning Lots 174, 176, 178, 186, and 188 on Fourth Street from C-3 (Shopping Center)/R-3 (Multiple-Family Residential) to C-4 (Central Business) to allow for the construction of a new surgery center.
