OSBORNE COUNTY —Investigators are working to determine the cause of train derailment in Downs, Kansas.
Early Thursday, a Kyle Railroad train passing through Downs derailed seven railcars carrying corn, according to Kyle Railroad spokesman Tom Ciuba. There were no injuries, and no hazardous materials were involved.
All railroad crossings that were blocked in town are now open.
