WICHITA, KS -- This holiday season, the Wichita Wind Surge will be collecting mittens, socks and gloves to be donated to the Wichita Family Crisis Center.
From December 10-19, fans can visit the Wichita Wind Surge team store at Equity Bank park to donate their items. Fans who donate two packs or pairs of socks, mittens, or gloves will receive a 25% discount at the team store. Those donating four packs or pairs will receive a 30% discount, and those who donate ten or more will receive a 40% discount and a complimentary Harry Potter Wind Surge cap. Only new mittens, gloves, and socks will be accepted. We encourage all in the community to participate!
The Surge will open the season at home on Thursday, April 2 against the Northwest Arkansas Naturals, the AA affiliate of the Kansas City Royals. The full promotional calendar will be announced at a later date.
