SALINA —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a suspect for alleged assault.
Just before 6:30p.m. Tuesday, officers responded to the 500 block of N. 9th in reference to a report of a domestic disturbance, according to Sergeant Kyle Tonniges.
Officers made contact with a 54-year-old woman from Salina. She reported she had an argument with her ex-boyfriend, 58-year-old Jesus Salome of Salina.
During the argument Jesus kicked the victim, displayed a knife and threatened to stab the victim. He even took the knife and made a slashing motion towards her. Officers arrested Jesus on scene on requested charges of Aggravated Assault, Criminal Threat and Domestic Battery.
