Frieda Lucille Priddy, 100, of Salina, Kan., passed away Sunday, June 16, 2024. She was born on December 23, 1923, in Dorrance, Kan., to Reinhart and Katherine (Senner) Dick.

Frieda was united in marriage to Ralph Edgar Priddy on January 29, 1949, in Salina. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church and was a dedicated member of the Salina VFW Post 1432 Woman’s Auxiliary. She worked at Key Rexall Pharmacy for many years and enjoyed volunteering as an election booth worker for many years. Frieda was a great cook who loved to make her German recipes for family and friends. She also enjoyed embroidery and canning fruits and vegetables.

Survivors include her children, Marva Jore (Ron), and Wayne Priddy (Ceal), both of Salina; grandchildren, Brandy Siler, Ginger Lehman (Jason), Aaron Jore (Krista), and Teresa Snow (Greg); great-grandchildren, Ashley Siler, Aubree Montey (Kayden), Chase Anderson, Ella Jore, Emryn Jore, Blake Robertson, Christian Snow, Sebastian Snow, and one more on the way; great-great-grandchild, Blake Montey; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 49 years, Ralph; brothers, Harry, David, Walter, and Melvin Dick; sisters, Selma Dick, Rachel Unruh, Alvena Luerman, Mary Wood, and Bertha Smith.

A visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, June 20, 2024, at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N 8th St, Salina, with family present from 5-7.

The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 21, at 10 a.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 302 S 7th St, Salina, with burial to follow at Roselawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Salina.

Memorials may be made to the Salina VFW Post 1432, care of Ryan Mortuary.
