Police are reviewing surveillance video to find evidence that could lead them to the culprit of a storage unit burglary in south Salina.
Sometime between noon Saturday and 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, someone cut the lock off of a storage unit at KO Storage, 3335 S. Ninth Street, and stole a number of items, Salina Police Captain Paul Forrester said this morning.
An inventory of the unit's contents was still being conducted by the owner as of this morning, however, it is known that the following items were taken, Forrester said.
●At least 18 RYOBI string trimmers
●Three electric breaker boxes
●A tankless gas water heater
●A RYOBI inverter generator
●A laptop computer
●Other miscellaneous power tools and computer equipment
Total loss to this point was estimated at $8,400.
