On Monday, just before 6 p.m., Salina Police Department officers responded to a disturbance at the 1100 block of Parkwood Drive.
Wayne Jackson, a 19-year-old Salinan, allegedly took his 18-year-old significant other's phone, pulled her by the hair and punched a hole in the wall.
According to SPD sergeant Kyle Tonniges, Jackson had strangled his significant other, the victim, several weeks prior.
Tonniges said officers arrested Jackson with the following requested charges —
● Robbery
● Aggravated domestic battery
● Domestic battery
● Damage to property
● Criminal restraint
