In the Kansas Republican Primary, the issue of life is one of the most foundational principles you expect a candidate vying for the nomination to hold. For the future of our state, we can’t afford to gamble on an unproven or untested conservative candidate. That’s why I wholeheartedly agree with KFL's choice of our very own Senate President, Ty Masterson, to lead Kansas forward.
For decades, Ty Masterson has demonstrated a consistent commitment to conservative values and the defense of life. He hasn’t simply campaigned on these principles—he has fought for them in the Legislature and built a record that voters can examine and trust. As Senate President, he has led efforts to advance pro-life legislation and has become one of the state’s most recognizable advocates for protecting the unborn.
Kansans for Life PAC did not make this endorsement lightly. After what it described as a vigorous vetting process and discussions with multiple candidates, the organization concluded that uniting pro-life voters behind one proven leader was essential in a crowded Republican primary. Their endorsement reflects not only Masterson’s voting record but also a belief that experience and conviction matter when the stakes are this high.
The question before Republican voters isn’t simply who says the right things today. It’s those who have stood firm when difficult decisions had to be made and who have the experience to govern effectively tomorrow. Ty Masterson has spent more than two decades serving Kansas, earning the trust of conservatives across our state and recently receiving endorsements from both President Donald Trump and Kansans for Life PAC.
In a time when political winds shift quickly, Kansans deserve leadership rooted in principle rather than convenience. On the issue of life—the issue that underpins the dignity of every person—I believe Ty Masterson has earned our support. I encourage my fellow Republicans to join me in supporting a proven conservative leader who has demonstrated, time and again, that he is willing to stand for what he believes and fight for the values that make Kansas strong.
KFL PAC announced its endorsement of Masterson on June 5, saying it sought to unite pro-life voters behind a single candidate in the Republican gubernatorial primary. The endorsement follows President Trump’s endorsement of Masterson earlier this year.
