Saline County closed part of W. Hedberg Road today for drainage work.

W. Hedberg Road between S. Halstead Road and S. Burma Road was closed to through traffic Tuesday for the replacement of a cross-road drainage culvert.

Weather permitting, the roadway should be opened by the end of June 29.

Motorists are advised to allow a few extra minutes of travel time to reach their destinations. Local and emergency traffic will be provided access to private property within the sections of closed road at all times but only from the side upon which the property lies.
