KHP ID's Salina woman who died after 2-vehicle crash on I-135

SALINE COUNTY—A Salina woman died in an accident just after 1 a.m. Wednesday in Saline County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2000 Toyota Tundra driven by  Abygail E Aaron, 20, Wichita, was southbound on Interstate 135 just south of Water Well Road.

The pickup crossed the center median and struck a 2016 Ford F150 driven by Jose M. Rodriguez, 41, Salina, on the shoulder of the northbound lanes.

EMS transported Rodriguez and a passenger in the Ford identified as Daisha J. Endsley, 26, Salina, to Salina Regional Health Center where Endsley was pronounced deceased.  EMS also transported Aaron to Wesley Medical Center.

All three were properly restrained, according to the KHP.

SALINE COUNTY —The Kansas Highway Patrol and Salina Police are investigating a two-vehicle fatal crash that occurred overnight south of Salina.

The highway is now open to all northbound traffic on Interstate 135  according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.

All northbound traffic on Interstate 135 will exit off the interstate at the Mentor Road-Smolan Road milepost 86 ramp in Saline county, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.
