Minor quake shakes area southwest of Gypsum this morning

GYPSUM - A minor earthquake shook part of southeastern Saline County early this morning.

According to the Kansas Geological Survey, the 2 magnitude quake struck at 4 a.m. Wednesday southwest of Gypsum. The quake was centered just south of E. Hedberg Road and just west of S. Whitmore Road.
