TOPEKA - The Top Hat chapter of Alpha Lambda Delta at Washburn University is an honor society that distinguishes first-year academic success. It is part of the nationally recognized Alpha Lambda Delta honor society that was created in 1924.
Alpha Lambda Delta at Washburn University was founded in 2007 and has inducted more than 750 students in the last decade. These students are now part of a society that encourages academic achievement, leadership skills and community service.
Membership in Alpha Lambda Delta is open to full-time first-year students who earn a 3.5 GPA or higher during the first semester of their freshman year at Washburn.
