SALINA, - Richard Roughton, 81 passed away on April 23, 2023 at Salina Regional Health Center. He was born on December 12, 1941 in Hiwass, Arkansas to Bonnie and Kenneth Roughton.
In 1963 he joined the Army, serving in Korea.
After being discharged he met and married his wife of 57 years, Mary Henning.
He had three daughters, five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He loved playing with his great-grandchildren, doing puzzles and fishing. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Richard had two sisters and two brothers. He was loved and will be missed by all.
Richard was preceded in death by in death by his parents, infant son Timmy, brother Marvin Roughton, and grandson Bradley Roughton.
Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 29, 2023 at Gypsum Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family and sent in care of the mortuary.
