LINCOLN COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just after 2:30p.m. Sunday in Lincoln County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2004 Toyota Avalon driven by Keith R. Super, 75, Nenana, Alaska, was westbound on Interstate 70 just west of the Beverly, Carneiro exit in the right lane behind a 2023 Freightliner semi driven by Kareem Jallah Shabazz Cleveland, 47, Virginia Beach, Virginia.
The semi suddenly slowed, causing the Toyota to slow. The semi then rear-ended the Toyota.
EMS transported a passenger in the Toyota Kenneth Lee Super, 75, Lebanon, Oregon, to Salina Regional Health Center. The drivers were not injured. All three were properly restrained, according to the KHP.
