SALINE COUNTY —Law enforcement are ivestigating a suspect on multiple allegations after an altercation with a security guard in Salina.
On Friday night, police responded to a call at the 100 block of E Mulberry in Salina after a security guard making rounds had a businesses report a man creating a disturbance, according to Salina Police.
The suspect, later identified as 52-year-old Phetsakone Sayaphouthone attempted to enter the building through a locked door. The security guard informed the suspect that the place was closed and he needed to leave.
As the security guard was walking away, Sayaphouthone threatened to kill him. The security guard called police law. The suspect then began striking the security guard. Police were able to locate and arrest Sayaphouthone and booked him into the Saline County Jail on requested charges of battery and criminal threat.
