
SALINE COUNTY—Two people were injured in an accident just before 10a.m. Monday in Saline County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2012 Ford F450 driven by Dayton Berg, 43, Enterprise, was westbound on Interstate 70 six miles east of Salina.
The Ford had just passed another vehicle and was returning to the driving lane when it rear-ended a 2007 GMC Savanna driven by Richard McCauley, 22, Jacksonville, Florida.
EMS transported two passenger in the van 50-year-old Christopher McCrary and 51-year-old Rachel McGrail both of Rocky Ford, Colorado to Salina Regional Health Center. Berg and McCauley were not injured. McGrail was not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP.
