UPDATE: This t-storm warning has been allowed to expire

UPDATE 7:15 p.m. Wednesday: This severe thunderstorm warning has expired.

The National Weather Service in Wichita has issued a severe thunderstorm warning in effect until 7:15 p.m. for central Ellsworth County.

At 6:30 p.m. CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located just north of Holyrood, or 8 miles northeast of Claflin, moving east at 20 mph.

Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts are expected.
